 Moringa Powder

How we make our Moringa Powder

Harvesting

The Moringa leaves are cut when they are still young and have all the nutrients in them. The young leaves are then taken to the shade drying facility immediately to avoid exposure to the sun and preserve the nutrients in them.

Cleaning

The leaves are then washed in clean water to remove all the dirt, then in 1% saline water to remove all the microbes, after that, the leaves are washed again in clean water to take away the saline solution, then the leaves are safe to dry.

After cleaning the leaves, they are then hanged inside our clean drying facility out of direct sunlight for at least three days.

Drying

The dry leaves are now ready for processing into fine, green powder. The leaves are milled at below 40 degrees Celsius to preserve their nutrient content. The Powder comes out a bright green colour and is then vacuum packed to further protected from heat, humidity, and light so it doesn’t encourage the growth of molds and deterioration.

Hygiene

Employees who are directly in the production process, are dressed in clean aprons, nose covers, head caps, and make sure they are clean and careful throughout the process, so as to have quality products that meet international standards.
